Technical Three

Cytech Technical Three is designed for advanced mechanics and technicians working on high-end bike brands and equipment.

Course options

Due to the advanced nature of Cytech Technical Three there are three options available to choose from designed to meet your specific needs. All of the courses outlined below are full Cytech Technical Three qualifications. 

• Cytech Technical Three (PJCS)
• Cytech Technical Three MTB
• Cytech Technical Three Road
  

Cytech Technical Three (PJCS) 

The Cytech Technical Three qualification, trained and assessed by PJCS, is designed to allow businesses the option to choose the suspension & hydraulic disc brake systems that are important to their business. Courses are selected based on the products that are equipped on the cycles you sell or supply.

Training and assessment lasts 6 days and covers the following modules:

• Suspension (incl. two of the following: Fox, Manitou, RockShox)
• Hydraulic Brakes (incl. two of the following: Hayes, Hope, Magura, Shimano)
• Advanced Wheel Building (incl. one of the following: DT Swiss, Campagnolo, Shimano)
• Complex Bike Building (incl. one of the following: Rocky Mountain, Specialized, Trek)

This flexible approach and the ability for a business to structure the qualification or training of their mechanics to best suit their needs, is a first for the cycle industry and one that is proving very popular and beneficial.

Cytech Technical Three MTB (ATG Training)

The Cytech Technical Three MTB qualification, trained and assessed by ATG Training, is modular, enabling candidates to select specific training relevant to the products they are working on. 

Based around advanced MTB technology, the course lasts 5 days and covers the following optional modules:

• Advanced MTB Wheel Building (2 days)
• Hydraulic Brake Tech (1 day)
• Suspension Tech (2 days)

Cytech Technical Three Road (ATG Training)

The Cytech Technical Three MTB qualification, trained and assessed by ATG Training, is modular, enabling candidates to select specific training relevant to the products they are working on.

Based around advanced road bike technology, the course lasts 5 days and covers the following optional modules:

• Advanced Road Wheels (2 days)
• Frame Tech (1 day)
• Road Drive Train (2 days)

How much does these courses cost?

All Cytech Technical Three training and assessment courses are available to members of the public and cycle shop employees.
