Technical Three MTB
Cytech Technical Three Mountain Bike Maintenance is the course for all true professional cycle technicians.
This course is designed for experienced cycle mechanics with a strong working knowledge of the cycle market and qualified to Cytech Two or with the equivalent experience.
What does this course include?
The course lasts 5 days and covers the following modules:
- Advanced Wheel Building - 2 days of the course will be dedicated to wheel building to help to gain advanced skills such as wheel tying and soldering.
- Hydraulics - This 1 day module comprises of an in depth exploration of the principles and operations of hydraulics systems. You will also practice the maintenance of complete disk brake systems from fluid types to calliper strip down and rebuild as well as the intricacies of levers and hoses.
- Suspension frame and fork technology - This 2 day session will give you an in depth look at forks and shocks, including a guide to how best to set up these technologies to meet the needs of the rider.
